छत्तीसगढ़ के दंतेवाड़ा बस्तर में मौजूद है देवी का ये प्राचीन मंदिर 

मंदिर का निर्माण 14वीं सदी में चालुक्य राजाओं ने दक्षिण भारतीय वास्तुकला से बनावाया था। यहां देवी की षष्टभुजी काले रंग की मूर्ति स्थापित है।

यह बस्तर क्षेत्र का दक्षिणी हिस्सा है जिसे दक्षिण बस्तर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है जहां पर बस्तरिया संस्कृति अभी भी जीवित है। दंतेवाड़ा ,जगदलपुर के दक्षिण-पश्चिम में स्थित, पवित्र नदियों शंखिनी और धनकिनी के संगम पर, दोनों नदियों के अलग-अलग रंग हैं, यह छह सौ साल पुराना मंदिर प्राचीन में से एक है

माई का त्रिशूल 600 साल पुराना है
इस स्तम्भ पर दंतेश्वरी माई का त्रिशूल भी स्थापित हुआ। लकड़ी के स्तम्भ के बारे में बताया जाता है कि 250 वर्ष पुराना है। बताया जाता है कि माई का त्रिशूल 600 साल पुराना है।52 शक्ति पिथों में से एक माना जाता है। माना जाता है कि देवी सती की दांत यहां गिरा था, इसलिए दंतेवाड़ा नाम का नाम लिया गया।दन्तेवाड़ा का नाम देवी दन्तेश्वरी के नाम पर ही पड़ा है जो काकतीय राजाओं की कुलदेवी हैं। परम्परागत रूप से देवी दन्तेश्वरी बस्तर राज्य की भी कुलदेवी हैं।

 This ancient temple of Goddess is present in Dantewada Bastar of Chhattisgarh

The temple was built by South Indian architecture in the 14th century by the Chalukya kings.  Here Sastabhuji black colored idol of Goddess is installed.

 It is the southern part of the Bastar region, also known as Dakshin Bastar, where the Bastaria culture is still alive.  Dantewada, situated to the south-west of Jagdalpur, at the confluence of the sacred rivers Shankhini and Dhankini, the two rivers have different colors, this six hundred year old temple is one of the ancient

 Mai's trident is 600 years old

 The trident of Danteshwari Mai was also installed on this pillar.  The wooden pillar is said to be 250 years old.  Mai's trident is said to be 600 years old. It is believed to be one of the 52 Shakti Pithas.  It is believed that the tooth of Goddess Sati fell here, hence the name Dantewada was named. Dantewada is named after Goddess Danteshwari who is the Kuldevi of Kakatiya kings.  Traditionally, Devi Danteshwari is also the Kuldevi of Bastar state.
