नाग पंचमी त्यौहार ।

नाग पंचमी हिन्दुओं का एक प्रमुख त्योहार है।
यह त्यौहार सावन माह की शुक्ल पक्ष के पंचमी को नाग पंचमी के रूप में मनाया जाता है इस दिन नाग देवता को पूजा व् दूध पिलाया जाता है। स्त्रों में नागों को दूध पिलाने को नहीं बल्कि दूध से स्नान कराने को कहा गया है नागपंचमी के दिन अनेकों गांव में कस्बों ,कुश्ती का आयोजन होता है।आसपास के पहलवान भाग लेते हैं।  इस दिन अष्टनागों की पूजा की जाती है।
नाग देवता की पूजा करने और रुद्राभिषेक करने से भगवान शंकर प्रसन्न होते हैं और मनचाहा वरदान देते हैं. मान्यता यह भी है कि इस दिन सर्पों की पूजा करने से नाग देवता प्रसन्न होते हैं।

 Nag Panchami is a major festival of Hindus.

 This festival is celebrated as Nag Panchami, the Panchami of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Sawan, on this day worship and milk is offered to the Nag Devta.  Women are told not to feed the nagas but to bathe with milk, in Naga Panchami, wrestling is organized in many villages in many villages. Nearby wrestlers participate.  Ashtanagas are worshiped on this day.

 Lord Shankar is pleased by worshiping the serpent god and doing Rudrabhishek and gives the desired blessing.  It is also believed that the worship of snakes on this day pleased the serpent god.
